My Thoughts
- Very affordable. Even with shipping costs these are so much cheaper than other brands.
- Easy to apply. They are very forgiving if you make a mistake in placement.
- Lasts up to a week. *I used a fast dry top coat as well, but that is not necessary.*
- Great for small or large nail beds.
- Usually with real nail polish strips there is a smell as soon as you open the package but not with these. No smell!
- No dry time. Just apply and you are ready to go.
- Depending on the size of your toenails you could also use these for toenails also! ;]
- Tips #1 If the nail strips are too big for your nails they can easily be cut away with the cuticle stick. My tip with that is to use the pointy side of the cuticle stick and rather than dragging it to cut away at the strip just create a lot of small dots on the side where there is too much of the strip hanging off until it is separated then peel off the excess.
- Tip #2 Make sure the nail polish strip is completely smoothed down before you start filing off the excess.
- Tip #3 File DOWNWARD. Not across.
- Tip #4 Make sure you CLEAN YOUR NAILS with polish remover before you apply these regardless if you have nail polish on your nails or not. This will remove any dirt or oil from your nails and your nail strips will last much longer.
- Tip #5 Wait at least 30-60 minutes after applying before you put your hands in water to avoid them coming off early or lifting.
