Nailene French Tip Pen (Black) - Review

http://www.ebay.com/
Price I paid: $4.99 on Ebay!
Will I Buy again: Probably not!
Review: This pen is the exact same pen as the other one I used for my french tips (Which I love!) but in a different color. It was very noticeable when there wasn't a straight line for the tip. So I didn't have much success with this but I'll try again and post a picture if I have good results.

OPI - "The Thrill of Brazil" Part 1

http://www.opi.com/
This is such a pretty Christmas color! This is my first OPI Nail Polish and I'm very pleased. The picture shown is just one coat! It dries very quickly and isn't sticky or smudgy once it's dry. I cut off all my nails while I was at work...so I don't think this looks too great on my nails. I will swatch it on my nails and post the pic some other time when my nails grow out. For now...you can check out my toes! ;)

Nailene French Tip Pen (White) - Review

http://www.walmart.com/
Price I paid: $5.79 at Wal-Mart
Would I Buy again: Yes!!
Review: I was very excited to try this Pen out since the tips take so long for me to do with the Polish. It turned out really well. I had a great manicure within about 30 minutes. There were very few mistakes made. I used the Nailene Tip Guides also that I bought seperately. Some of the polish seeped through on the sides but it was very easy to correct with the Avon Nail Corrector Pen (http://www.avon.com/). The polish from the Pen dries very quickly! The only thing that bothers me with the Pen is that the edges of the tips wear off easily and doesn't last that long. Without being noticeable they probably only last for maybe 3 days. To get the Pen to work you have to shake it really well and then push down on the point a few times until the point is saturated with polish. It was very easy to use and looked great! This Pen doesn't come with a sheer pink polish to use over the tip so I used the Kiss Sheer Pink polish that came with the Kiss French Manicure Kit. I wasn't too fond of the top coat's brush so I just used a different top coat.

Mary Kay Eye Primer - Review

http://www.marykay.com/
Price I paid: $6-7 on Ebay
Would I buy again: Yes!
Review: I've not used any other primers except this one but I definitely won't be trying any others. This is a great product. I usually apply my makeup around 7 am on a work day. My eye shadow lasts all day without creasing! Even if I don't wear eyeshadow, I still apply this primer because it gives the lids a very clean look.

Kiss French Manicure Kit - Review

Price I paid: $5.79 at Walgreens
Would I buy again: Yes
Review: This was a difficult product for me to use. I am not great at painting nails anyways so I didn't expect great results but I wanted to try it out. First I tried doing my Mom's nails with it and they looked horrible up close but somewhat decent from far away. The tip guides don't stick that well so some of the paint would seep through. I decided to try it again with my nails and although it took me 1 hour to complete I got a great manicure. I didn't worry too much about mistakes. I used the tip guides and took them off while they were still semi-wet and then used my Avon Corrector Pen (http://www.avon.com/) to correct some mistakes on the tip. I done this manicure on the night of 11/08/2010 and it started chipping near the edges on 11/12/2010. The chipping was barely noticeable though. The sheer pink polish started to bubble up and peel on Day 4 & 5. Overall this is still a great product and I'll still continue to use it.
